Set in the enchanting world of Sandail, where magic is powered by a mysterious force known as Anima, SaGa Frontier 2: Remastered follows the intertwined stories of two protagonists. Gustave, a royal who lacks the ability to use magic, and William Knights, a young adventurer from a family of diggers who seek ancient relics called Quells.

Gustave's journey begins when he is exiled from the Kingdom of Finney for his inability to harness Anima, a crucial skill in his society.
