What Recursive Destruction Is in Marvel Rivals & How To Trigger It in Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown
Marvel Rivals Season 1 unleashes new characters, maps, and modes, including a fresh challenge set rewarding players with freebies like a Thor skin. This guide focuses on triggering Recursive Destruction in Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown.
What is Recursive Destruction in Marvel Rivals?
The initial "Blood Moon Over the Big Apple" challenge requires triggering Recursive Destruction. This involves destroying Dracula-influenced objects that then reappear in their original state. However, not all destructible objects work; only those highlighted in red when using Chrono Vision will trigger this effect.
Activating Chrono Vision:
Chrono Vision, accessed via the "B" key (keyboard) or the right D-pad button (console), highlights destructible objects in red. Only these red-highlighted objects will trigger Recursive Destruction.
Triggering Recursive Destruction in Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown
This challenge is exclusive to the Quick Match (Midtown) mode. Initially, no red-highlighted objects appear. Wait for the first checkpoint; two buildings will then become available to trigger Recursive Destruction. Destroy these buildings multiple times. The reappearance might be missed in the heat of battle, but repeated hits should complete the challenge. If unsuccessful, simply replay the match. After completing this, focus on subsequent challenges featuring Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman.
Marvel Rivals is currently available on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.
