Ragnarok X: Pet Guide and Tips Unveiled
The Pet System in Ragnarok X: Next Generation (ROX) adds an exciting strategic dimension to the game's open-world experience. Players can capture, train, and evolve a diverse array of pets that not only serve as adorable companions but also bolster their combat abilities and enhance character attributes. This comprehensive guide delves into the intricacies of acquiring, nurturing, and leveraging these pets within the game.
Unlocking the Pet System
To unlock the Pet System in ROX, players must reach base level 60. Once this milestone is achieved, a series of introductory quests will guide you through the process of acquiring a slingshot, loading it, and unlocking the Pet Encyclopedia. Completing these quests is the first step towards your pet collection and management journey.
How to Capture Pets?
Capturing pets in ROX is both straightforward and strategic. Pets are categorized into different rarities, which influences their appearance when you attempt to catch them. The quality of the pet you obtain is determined randomly, with the following probabilities:
- S Tier (Very Rare): 1% chance
- A Tier (Rare): 10% chance
- B Tier (Normal): 89% chance
What is Pet Quality Transfer?
In ROX, players can elevate their pet's quality through the Pet Quality Transfer feature. This involves transferring the quality from a higher-tier pet to another of the same species, maintaining the level and experience of the recipient pet. To perform this transfer, you'll need two identical pets (of the same species), with one being of higher quality, and you'll be charged a fee of 5,000 Zeny. This feature allows players to upgrade their pets without losing any progress.
Pet Awakening Skills
Pets in ROX can unlock up to four awakening skill slots, significantly enhancing their combat prowess. These slots are unlocked using skill sheets, which can only be obtained from the Pet Book Vending Machine (Gacha system). The availability of these slots is determined by the pet's quality tier and star rank, making it essential to focus on developing your pets to their fullest potential.
Pet Stamina Explained
Each pet in ROX comes with a stamina system, totaling 720 stamina points, which equates to 120 minutes of active deployment. Stamina is crucial as it's the resource that allows pets to function. Unfortunately, due to this system, you can't keep your pet active for an entire day. Stamina depletes at a rate of one point every 10 seconds while the pet is in use.
For an enhanced gaming experience, consider playing Ragnarok X: Next Generation on a larger screen using your PC or Laptop with BlueStacks, along with your keyboard and mouse for more precise control.
