GungHo Online Entertainment marks a major milestone for Puzzle & Dragons in North America

GungHo Online Entertainment has achieved a significant benchmark with its hit mobile title, Puzzle & Dragons. The game has now surpassed 16 million downloads across North America, encompassing both the U.S. and Canada—a clear cause for celebration.

This milestone highlights over ten years of consistent growth for a title that seamlessly merges puzzle mechanics with intricate role-playing elements. Furthermore, frequent collaborations featuring popular culture icons, anime series, and other game franchises have played a crucial role in driving this success.

On a global scale, Puzzle & Dragons has exceeded 90 million downloads since its initial release in 2012. Japan remains the title's strongest market, with download numbers surpassing 63 million. Other significant regional totals include 3 million combined downloads for Hong Kong and Taiwan, as well as an additional 3 million in South Korea.

The North American iteration of Puzzle & Dragons launched on iOS in the U.S. in November 2012, followed by an Android release later that December. Canada received the game nearly two years after its initial debut.

GungHo Online Entertainment is hosting a special event to commemorate the 16 million download milestone for North American players of Puzzle & Dragons. The celebration runs from January 21st through February 6th.

The event period features an exclusive Super Godfest and bonus Login Stamps. Additionally, select dungeons will be available with half the standard Stamina cost.
