Feb 20,25

The 2025 PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) has kicked off, featuring a massive field of over 90,000 competitors vying for a share of the $500,000 prize pool. This year's Open Qualifiers, which started February 13th, provide a crucial pathway for aspiring PUBG Mobile esports stars to break into the international scene.

The tournament structure is designed to showcase fresh talent, with amateur teams competing across multiple rounds. Teams boasting at least one Ultimate 500-ranked player from Cycle 7 Season 20 or 21 have already advanced to Round 2. Upcoming weeks will see intense battles for a coveted spot in the PMGO Prelims, where they'll face off against elite teams from the Uzbekistan Offline Qualifiers.

ytTwelve teams will ultimately emerge from the Prelims to challenge the world's best professional PUBG Mobile players in the PMGO Main Event (April 12th-13th). Four professional teams – Regnum Carya, Nigma Galaxy, 4Merical Vibes, and Influence Rage – have already secured their Main Event berths based on their stellar PMGC 2024 performances. Four additional professional teams will qualify through regional competitions like the PMSL SEA Spring, PMGO Korea Qualifier, and the Peacekeeper Elite League Spring season.

The Open Qualifiers conclude March 2nd, leading into the Prelims (April 10th-11th). The PMGO is just the beginning of a jam-packed year for PUBG Mobile Esports, with the PUBG Mobile World Cup and PMGC also on the calendar for 2025.
