Pokémon GO is gearing up for its Max Out season, introducing the highly anticipated Dynamax Pokémon! This exciting new addition will be a major part of the upcoming in-game event, bringing colossal battles and rewarding gameplay.

Max Out Season: September 10th - September 15th

The Max Out season kicks off on September 10th at 10:00 a.m. local time and concludes on September 15th at 8:00 p.m. local time. Prepare for a week of oversized Pokémon action!

Initial Dynamax Pokémon Encounters:

The season's launch will feature 1-star Max Battles against these Dynamax Pokémon:

  • Bulbasaur
  • Charmander
  • Squirtle
  • Skwovet
  • Wooloo

Trainers can catch these Dynamax Pokémon, and their evolved forms will also have Dynamax capabilities. Shiny versions will also be available! Special Field Research tasks will be available throughout the event, alongside PokéStop Showcases offering event-themed rewards.

Special Research and Max Particles:

A new Seasonal Special Research story will be released on September 3rd at 10:00 a.m. local time, running until December 3rd, 2024, at 9:59 a.m. local time. Completing Max Battle-focused tasks will reward players with Max Particles, a new avatar item, and more.

Max Particle Bundle and Power Spots:

A Max Particle Pack Bundle (4,800 Max Particles) will be available for purchase on the official Pokémon GO web store for $7.99 starting September 8th, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. PDT. These particles are crucial for participating in Dynamax battles.

Rumors suggest the arrival of Power Spots next month, designated locations for Max Battles, Dynamax Pokémon encounters, and Max Particle collection. While Niantic hasn't confirmed this, it's an exciting prospect.

Mega Evolution and Gigantamax Potential:
