The Pokémon GO Fidough Fetch event is packed with Field Research tasks and Global Challenges. Complete these event-exclusive activities for guaranteed Fidough encounters, which you can then evolve into Dachsbun.

The event runs from Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 4:45 AM NT to Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 11:45 AM NT—a four-day event debuting Fidough and Dachsbun. While their standard forms are available, shiny variants are not currently featured. This guide details all Field Research tasks and Global Challenges.

Pokémon GO Fidough Fetch - All Field Research Tasks And Rewards

The Fidough Fetch Field Research offers six different tasks, each with multiple potential rewards. Tasks include catching Pokémon, making Nice Throws, following a Route, and more. Completing these tasks rewards you with various items and Pokémon encounters.

The Fidough Fetch event also includes several Pokémon GO Global Challenges. Making Nice Throws unlocks various bonuses. Completion of one Global Challenge unlocks the next; there are six levels in total.

Global Challenge Level 1

Goal: Make 50,000,000,000 Nice Throws
Rewards: 2× XP for catching Pokémon

Global Challenge Level 2

Goal: Make 75,000,000,000 Nice Throws
Rewards: 2× Stardust for catching Pokémon and an additional Field Research task unlocked
Wild Spawn Added: Fidough

Global Challenge Level 3

Goal: Make 100,000,000,000 Nice Throws
Rewards: 2.5× XP for catching Pokémon and an additional Field Research task unlocked
Wild Spawn Added: Hisuian Growlithe (Shiny Available) and Greavard Encounter

Global Challenge Level 4

Goal: Make 125,000,000 Nice Throws
Rewards: 2.5× Stardust for catching Pokémon

Global Challenge Level 5

Goal: Make 150,000,000 Nice Throws
Rewards: 3× XP and 3× Stardust for catching Pokémon
