The challenge with Tera ex cards lies in managing multiple energies, but witnessing a Glaceon Tera ex deck in action would undoubtedly be entertaining.

Eevee Elite Trainer Box Promo 173

With its stunning full artwork, this Eevee card is more likely to find a home in collectors' binders than in decks. It remains the standard Eevee card in this set, allowing trainers to evolve it immediately upon play, simplifying the construction of an Eeveelution deck.

Mela Trainer SAR 140/131

Mela is a potent trainer card that can be pivotal at the right moment. It allows trainers to retrieve a fire energy from the discard pile while drawing six cards, a move that could be game-changing in the mid to late stages. Though more common, its value as a collectible remains high.

Pikachu ex 028/131

Prismatic Evolutions tackles the FOMO from Surging Sparks with Pikachu ex, a straightforward basic ex card. With Thunder, it can achieve one-hit knockouts in three turns, albeit at a high energy cost. Its low retreat cost makes it an excellent card for switching in and out from the bench.

Max Rod Ace Spec 116/131

This card can dramatically shift the course of a battle. Picture reviving a knocked-out Tyranitar ex and its four energy cards, then rebuilding it from the bench. It's one of the most impactful Ace Specs we've seen.

Espeon ex 034/131

Espeon ex decks are poised to be tough to counter, with the ability to discard from an opponent's hand and de-evolve all opposing Pokémon, reshuffling their evolution cards back into the deck. This card can prolong battles and wear down opponents, making a deck with four Espeon ex cards a formidable strategy.

Tyranitar ex 064/131

While Tyranitar ex's Grind attack seems promising, its requirement as a second-stage evolution with a minimum of three energy cards to activate makes it less appealing. As much as I admire Tyranitar, this ex card falls short.

My Favorite Prismatic Evolution Cards

While the Eeveelution SIR cards are highly sought after, there's some stunning, underappreciated artwork in this expansion that's worth grabbing if you find a good deal.

Dragapult ex SAR 165/131

Dragapult ex SAR 165/131 is one of my favorite artworks in this set, and I'm seriously considering building a deck around Phantom Dive. With a two-energy cost for a combined 260 damage, including 60 spread across the opponent's bench, it's a powerful move. Keep an eye on this card; its value might rise as trainers seek to include it in their decks.

Roaring Moon ex SIR 162/131

Roaring Moon ex SIR is another heavy hitter with captivating artwork. Its triple energy cost for attacks is steep, but as a basic Pokémon, it could be the deciding factor in a tight match. Building a deck with Stadium cards to support Roaring Moon ex sounds like an enjoyable challenge.

Umbreon ex SIR 161/131

Although using an Umbreon ex SIR valued at over $1200 in a deck is unlikely, its incredible moveset is tempting. Like Roaring Moon ex, it has the potential to turn a battle around in the final moments, requiring three different energy types. Constructing an Eeveelution deck around Umbreon ex could be a fun and strategic endeavor.

So, is Prismatic Evolutions worth the hype? Absolutely. The set offers a wealth of cards for collectors and players alike, though you may need to wait for stock to become available. Eeveelution-themed sets always have a special allure, but pulling one of the elusive Eeveelution SIRs is a 1 in 900 booster pack chance.
