Pokémon Go Hosts Massive Year-End Catch-a-thon with All Community Day Pokémon

Missing out on top community events in Pokémon Go can be a real letdown, especially when it comes to catching those elusive, rare Pokémon with your friends. But don't worry if you've missed out this year, as Niantic is bringing back the excitement with an exclusive end-of-year Catch-a-thon event!

Set to debut on Saturday, December 21st, and Sunday, December 22nd, from 2 pm to 5 pm local time, this Catch-a-thon promises featured Pokémon, special rewards, and even the chance to encounter Shiny versions of these 'mons. Here's what you can look forward to:

  • December 21st: Bellsprout, Chansey, Goomy, Rowlet, Litten, and Bounsweet.
  • December 22nd: Mankey, Ponyta, Galarian Ponyta, Sewaddle, Tynamo, and Popplio.

In the last ten minutes of each hour, you'll also have the opportunity to encounter Porygon, Cyndaquil, Bagon, and Beldum. On top of that, you'll earn 2x XP for catching Pokémon, 2x Stardust, and a plethora of other rewards during this limited-time event.
