Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium’s pity system: Does it carry over between banners?

Sunborn's free-to-play tactical RPG, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium, available on PC and mobile, features gacha mechanics. A common question is whether the pity counter persists across different banners. The short answer is: yes, for limited banners.

Your accumulated pity counter and pulls from one limited-time banner will transfer to the next. During the global launch, the simultaneous Suomi and Ullrid banners exemplified this. Pity progress applied to both, regardless of which banner you pulled from. Reaching near-pity on one allowed immediate switching to the other for a 50/50 chance at the featured character. This applies to all future limited banners, confirmed by Chinese players on Reddit. Unused pity on past limited banners carries over to subsequent ones.

However, this pity system does not extend between limited and standard banners. You cannot manipulate pity on the standard banner to gain an advantage on limited banners.

While the hard pity is 80 pulls, soft pity begins at 58 pulls. After 58 pulls without an SSR unit, your chances gradually improve until the guaranteed SSR at pull 80.

This clarifies the pity system in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium. For more game guides, including rerolling, tier lists, and mailbox locations, check out The Escapist.
