Crunchyroll, the anime streaming giant, has a new, whimsical addition to its lineup: PictoQuest, a charming puzzle RPG now available on Android. This retro-styled RPG is exclusive to Crunchyroll Mega Fan and Ultimate Fan subscribers.
What is PictoQuest?
PictoQuest transports you to Pictoria, a land where legendary paintings have vanished. Your mission? Recover them! This involves solving picross-style puzzles, battling enemies, and outsmarting the mischievous wizard, Moonface.
The gameplay blends picross puzzles with RPG elements. Numbered grid edges provide clues for creating pictures. Enemies attack while you solve, and your health acts as a timer, adding a layer of urgency. A shop offers healing potions and power-ups purchased with in-game gold. Complete the world map to uncover villager quests.
