Persona 5: The Phantom X is set to broaden its horizons with the launch of a new social media account specifically for its English version. On May 15, P5X Official West shared that they will make their first major announcement during a livestream scheduled for the same day at 7:00 AM PT on Atlus’ official western YouTube channel.

The livestream will be packed with special guests, including voice actors Kaede Hondo (Motoha Arai) and Chika Anzai (Yui), alongside key members of the development team such as P5X Chief Producer Yohsuke Uda, Development Director Yusuke Nitta from ATLUS, and Development Producer Jun Matsunaga and Live Ops Director Yuta Sakai from SEGA.

Originally launched in selected regions in April 2024, P5X has fans buzzing with speculation about a potential Western release announcement during the upcoming stream. The developers hinted at their plans for English localization during the game's first anniversary livestream. The official account teased, "The release date for Japan will surely be announced, but what about the West? Be sure to tune in and find out!"

Japanese Release Coming Soon

The livestream will also provide updates on P5X’s Japanese (JP) release, which was first announced during the game's first anniversary celebration. Atlus confirmed a Summer 2025 launch in Japan, with pre-registrations now open on the P5X JP website.

In addition, Sega Sammy Holdings, a Japanese global holding company, included P5X in their Fiscal Year 2025 Results Presentation on May 12, noting that the game is slated for release "In or after FY2026/3" (April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026), targeting a summer launch.
