LE SSERAFIM Returns To Overwatch 2 With New Skins, Emotes, and In-Game Challenges

Overwatch 2 x LE SSERAFIM Coming This March 18, 2025

Overwatch 2 is thrilled to announce its second collaboration with the dynamic K-pop group LE SSERAFIM! Set to launch on March 18, 2025, this event will align perfectly with the release of LE SSERAFIM's new album "Hot." Players can look forward to a range of brand-new skins, emotes, and exciting in-game challenges. This follows their successful first collaboration in November 2023, which celebrated LE SSERAFIM’s song "Perfect Night." The event was officially confirmed via a trailer on Twitter (X) on March 11, following an announcement at the Overwatch 2 Spotlight on February 12.

The new skins set to dazzle in this event include those for Mercy, Juno, D.Va, Ashe, and Illari. Fans of the previous collab will also be delighted to know that recolored skins from the 2023 event will be available for purchase. These include LE SSERAFIM versions of Kiriko, D.Va, Sombra, Tracer, and Brigitte.

While the Concert Clash mode from the first collaboration won't make a return, as it was specifically tied to the "Perfect Night" video, players can still earn rewards by completing in-game challenges. One such reward is the Legendary Fawksey James Junkrat skin, available by participating in the event's challenges.

In an interview with Polygon on March 11, Overwatch Associate Director of Product Management Aimee Denett shared insights about the upcoming event. "This time around, we wanted to be part of one of the pieces that’s celebrating their new album," Denett said. She further explained that while there isn't a new song specifically for Overwatch, the team aimed to celebrate K-pop culture by creating a visualizer for one of the new songs from the album. "We're pretty excited about it and have put a lot of effort into the extensive cosmetics for this collaboration," she added.

The second collaboration between Overwatch 2 and LE SSERAFIM will run from March 18 to March 31, 2025. To kick things off, there will be an Overwatch 2 x LE SSERAFIM Livestream Event on March 17, 2025, at 8:30 PM PST, available on Twitch and YouTube. This livestream will feature members of LE SSERAFIM and offer a closer look at the new skins.
