Orna, The GPS MMORPG, Is Dropping Terra's Legacy To Raise Environmental Awareness
Join Orna's Terra's Legacy: A Real-World Environmental RPG Event!
Northern Forge Studios' Orna, the fantasy RPG and GPS MMO, is hosting a unique in-game event, Terra's Legacy, to combat real-world pollution. From September 9th to 19th, players can fight pollution-themed enemies and contribute to environmental cleanup.
Gameplay Meets Environmental Action:
Terra's Legacy merges virtual gameplay with real-world action. Players locate and report polluted areas within Orna, transforming them into in-game "Gloomsites." These Gloomsites are represented by the Murk, pollution-themed enemies, challenging players to battle for environmental awareness. Defeating the Murk allows players to plant trees and grow Gaia apples in these real-world locations. These apples can then be used to customize characters and enhance their magical abilities. The collaborative nature of the event means that other players can also harvest these apples, creating a shared reward system.
