Obtaining Ordelle Coins in FFXIV
Ordelle Coins are earned by completing "Jeuno: The First Walk," the initial Alliance Raid in the Echoes of Vana'diel series (added in patch 7.1). It's crucial to remember that only one coin is obtainable per week. Consistent weekly completion is necessary for maintaining optimal gear levels.
Unlocking "Jeuno: The First Walk" requires completing the "An Otherworldly Encounter" quest in Tulliyollal. Note: Completion of the Dawntrail MSQs is a prerequisite. Follow the quest markers to access the raid (item level 695 required).
Where to Use Ordelle Coins
Once you acquire an Ordelle Coin, visit Uah'shepya in the Nexus Arcade, Solution Nine. Exchange your coin for:
- Surgelight Twine
- Surgelight Glaze
These enhancement items upgrade gear purchased with Tomestones of Heliometry to item level 730. This provides a viable alternative to Savage Arcadion Raids for gearing up before the next content update.
After enhancing your Heliometry gear with Surgelight items, speak with Theone at Solution Nine to obtain the Augmented Quetzalli gear.
