The spotlight of this upcoming title is none other than the legendary Japanese swordsman, Miyamoto Musashi. During the PlayStation State of Play, Capcom treated fans to a new trailer showcasing the sword-based action gameplay and formidable enemies that await players.

The gameplay trailer not only highlighted Musashi's unparalleled sword skills but also gave us a glimpse into his roguish and comedic personality. Capcom's press release describes *Onimusha: Way of the Sword* as a dark fantasy action game that brings one of Japan's most iconic historical figures to life. Set in a Kyoto overrun by an evil force called Malic, which is summoning Hell and its denizens into Japan, *Onimusha: Way of the Sword* promises a thrilling narrative. This game marks the first new entry in the Onimusha series in two decades, adding to the anticipation. Additionally, Capcom has announced a remaster of *Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny*, slated for release on May 23, 2025, to prime fans for the upcoming title.
