Based on a game developer's resume, Gotham Knights may be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2. This intriguing possibility surfaced via YouTuber Doctre81 on January 5, 2025.

Gotham Knights Might be One of Nintendo Switch 2’s Third-Party Titles

The resume, belonging to a developer at QLOC (2018-2023), lists Gotham Knights alongside titles like Mortal Kombat 11 and Tales of Vesperia. Crucially, Gotham Knights is listed for two unreleased platforms.

One platform could be the original Nintendo Switch, given a previous ESRB rating (since removed). However, performance issues on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S might have hindered a Switch port. The second unreleased platform strongly suggests the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2.

While neither Warner Bros. Games nor Nintendo has confirmed this, the Switch 2 remains the only major unreleased console currently anticipated.

A 2023 ESRB rating for Gotham Knights on the original Switch, later retracted, further fuels speculation. While the original Switch port never materialized, this past rating, coupled with the recent YouTube report, hints at a possible Switch 2 release.
