Nintendo Alarmo Japanese Release Postponed Despite Being Available Worldwide

Production Shortages Cause Postponement
Nintendo Japan announced on their website that the general release of the Alarmo, initially scheduled for February 2025, is postponed indefinitely due to production and inventory challenges. The impact on international stock remains unclear; a global launch is still planned for March 2025.
As a temporary solution, Nintendo is offering a pre-order system exclusively to Japanese Nintendo Switch Online subscribers. Pre-orders are expected to open in mid-December, with shipments beginning in early February 2025. The precise pre-order start date will be announced separately.
Nintendo's Popular Alarm Clock
Launched globally in October, the Alarmo is an interactive alarm clock featuring music from popular Nintendo franchises like Super Mario, Zelda, Pikmin, Splatoon, and Ring Fit Adventure, with additional sounds planned via future updates.
Its unexpected popularity led to the suspension of online orders and a lottery system for online purchases. The Alarmo also quickly sold out in physical Nintendo stores across Japan and in New York.
