Hethereau, the game's sprawling metropolis, immediately presents an unsettling charm. From peculiar trees and unusual citizens to an otter sporting a television for a head, the city's oddities are amplified at night by gangs of graffiti-covered skateboards. These anomalies are not mere oddities; they are crises demanding the intervention of players wielding Esper Abilities. Players are tasked with investigating these strange occurrences, resolving the city's unusual problems, and ultimately integrating into Hethereau's daily life.
