Netflix to Launch Animated Series in Clash of Clans Universe
Netflix and Supercell have exciting news for fans of the Clash video game franchise: an animated series set in the worlds of Clash of Clans and Clash Royale is on its way to the small screen. Currently in pre-production, this series promises to amplify the chaos and fun that fans love about the games. According to a press release from Netflix, the plot will follow a determined yet overwhelmed Barbarian as he assembles a quirky group of misfits to protect their village and navigate the humorous and absurd political landscape of war.
The announcement was celebrated across official Clash of Clans social media channels with a playful teaser video. The video features the game's developers announcing the series via a group FaceTime call, stating, "Sound the horns, raise the banners, and reinforce your village walls — Clash is invading @Netflix! We’re making a new animated series starring your favorite mustachioed Barbarian and his high-pitched, hog-riding friends. Charge!"

John Derderian, VP of Animation at Netflix, expressed his excitement, stating, "Clash has been a global gaming phenomenon for over a decade – filled with humor, action, and unforgettable characters perfect for an animated series adaptation." He emphasized the collaboration with Supercell and the creative team, including Fletcher Moules and Ron Weiner, to bring the vibrant world of Clash to life in a fresh and engaging manner. "We can’t wait for fans - old and new - to experience the mayhem," Derderian added.
