Named The Electric State: Kid Cosmo, this game is slated for release on March 18th, just four days after the movie premieres on Netflix. Directed by the renowned Russo brothers, the film features stars Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt, and is set in a post-apocalyptic version of the '90s America filled with massive robots. It's scheduled to hit the streaming platform on March 14th.

The Electric State: Kid Cosmo serves as a prequel to the film's narrative. It delves into the early years of two central characters, Chris and Michelle, through an engaging game-within-a-game concept. Developed by BUCK Games in partnership with AGBO, the game promises intriguing gameplay, drawing on BUCK Games' experience with the acclaimed roguelite puzzle game Let’s! Revolution! on Steam.

In Kid Cosmo, players will navigate a series of puzzle adventures reminiscent of the WarioWare series, but infused with an '80s aesthetic. The game is set in Wichita, Kansas, in 1985, and spans five years, providing a rich backstory to Chris and Michelle's journey before the events depicted in the movie. Players will collect modules, repair Kid Cosmo’s ship, and solve puzzles that gradually reveal the secrets of this enigmatic world.
