NetEase Announces the EOS of Dead by Daylight Mobile

Jan 25,25

NetEase has announced the end-of-service (EOS) for their mobile horror action title, Dead by Daylight Mobile. After a four-year run since its global Android launch, the game is officially being discontinued. The PC and console versions remain unaffected and will continue operation.

Dead by Daylight Mobile, a mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's popular game, is a 4v1 asymmetrical horror-survival experience. Players choose to be either a Killer, sacrificing Survivors to The Entity, or a Survivor, desperately attempting to evade capture.

Dead by Daylight Mobile Shutdown Date:

The official EOS date is March 20th, 2025. The game will be removed from app stores on January 16th, 2025. Players who already have the game installed can continue playing until the final shutdown date.

NetEase will process refunds according to regional laws. Further details regarding the refund process will be released on January 16th, 2025.

Players wishing to continue their Dead by Daylight experience can transition to the PC or console versions. A welcome package awaits those making the switch, and loyalty rewards will be granted for in-app purchases or accumulated XP on the mobile version.

Download Dead by Daylight Mobile from the Google Play Store before January 16th, 2025, to experience the game before the servers go offline. For another exciting mobile gaming option, check out our coverage of Tormentis Dungeon RPG, a new dungeon-building game for Android.
