Through extensive playtesting, I've identified two premier deck archetypes for Moonstone: Patriot and Tribunal configurations. Alternative Moonstone Strategy

Testing revealed that Moonstone delivers exceptionally engaging gameplay when paired with Onslaught and The Living Tribunal. For those valuing excitement over predictability, utilize Moonstone as a central win condition alongside these cards: Onslaught, Living Tribunal, Mystique, Magik, Psylocke, Sera, Iron Man, Ravonna Renslayer, Captain America, Howard the Duck, and Iron Lad.

Optimal gameplay sequence:

1. Leverage Psylocke to deploy Moonstone ahead of curve.
2. Place Onslaught, Mystique, and Iron Man in her lane.
3. Finalize by distributing power across all lanes using The Living Tribunal.

In this configuration, Psylocke and Sera act as cost reducers, enabling earlier deployment of key cards. Magik prolongs the match, creating room for Onslaught and subsequent Tribunal plays. Meanwhile, Captain America and Iron Lad provide backup solutions if essential draws are delayed.

Many players anticipated the Moonstone-Onslaught-Tribunal combination would dominate the meta upon her release, viewing it as her natural synergy. However, few foresaw her primary vulnerability in this setup: Super Skrull.

Countering Moonstone Effectively

Moonstone players face a significant challenge from Super Skrull. Since her introduction, numerous competitors have incorporated Super Skrull into their decks specifically to counter Moonstone strategies, and it proves effective. Additional counters include Enchantress, Rogue, and Echo, highlighting her susceptibility.

Moonstone's major limitation stems from absorbing abilities within her own lane. Without protective measures like Invisible Woman, opponents can readily disable that lane with Enchantress, Echo, or Rogue. Alternatively, they may deploy Super Skrull elsewhere to negate your tactical advantage.

Is Moonstone a Worthy Addition?

Moonstone justifies spending Spotlight Keys for several reasons: 1) Her robust ability gains value as more synergistic Ongoing cards release; 2) She shares a Spotlight Cache with two other Series Five cards, minimizing pull risks; and 3) She embodies nostalgic appeal for Marvel Snap veterans.
