Monster Hunter Now Season 5: The Blossoming Blade Is Landing Soon!

Mar 14,25

Monster Hunter Now's Season 5: The Blossoming Blade, launching March 6th, 2025, promises exciting new content. Before the season begins, however, players can encounter the Chatacabra on February 28th, making its debut ahead of its appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. Season 5 will also introduce Glavenus and Arzuros to the hunt.

Weapon balancing is a key focus, aiming to enhance the viability and enjoyment of all weapon types. The Sword & Shield receives a buff improving tail-breaking efficiency, while the Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will reward precise timing with amplified power and more satisfying combos. The Guard skill also gets a significant upgrade; higher skill levels will now noticeably reduce damage taken while blocking. Further balance adjustments will be detailed in the full patch notes on March 6th.

Beyond combat, Season 5 addresses inventory management woes. An Item Box Expansion Supply Item, providing an extra 250 inventory slots, will be available.

Celebrating Monster Hunter Now's 1.5-year anniversary on March 17th, a new material exchange feature will launch. Hunters can trade special materials earned from hunts and events for valuable rewards, including Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards.
