Dec 30,21

Get ready for a summer of monster hunting! Niantic and popular YouTuber MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson) have teamed up for an exclusive Monster Hunter Now event. Beginning July 27th, players can embark on a special MrBeast-themed questline, earning unique rewards and a distinctive weapon.

MrBeast himself is excited about the collaboration, sharing his enthusiasm for the project. Niantic has released a captivating live-action trailer, encouraging players to "Hunt Anywhere," a must-see for all fans.

The event, running from July 27th to September 2nd, offers ample time to collect limited-edition items. These include MrBeast-themed layered equipment, face paint, a guild card background, and a hunter medal. Players will also earn season tier points, Zenny, and rare monster materials. The highlight? The sought-after MrBeast Sword & Shield, upgradeable to Grade 6 via collected MrBeast briefcases and further enhanced with standard materials.

Beyond the MrBeast collaboration, a major Monster Hunter Now update introduces the Dimensional Link. This innovative feature simplifies global cooperative hunting. Special monsters, marked by an inverted green triangle on the map, will allow players to join lobbies and hunt with others worldwide. This is particularly beneficial for players in less populated areas, enabling them to enjoy the advantages of group hunts without the paintball mechanic.
