Pre-registration is now open for Blue Protocol: Star Resonance from Japanese publisher A Plus. The globally anticipated anime-style MMORPG is scheduled to launch in October 2025. Developed by Shanghai Bokura Network Technology, the game is also beginning its PC Closed Beta Test today.

The Launch Countdown Begins

Blue Protocol: Star Resonance is deeply inspired by the original Blue Protocol. For context, the original game was released in Japan back in 2023.

Regrettably, its service ceased just a year later due to challenges in sustaining a sufficient player base. The servers were taken offline in January 2024, and plans for an international release were subsequently canceled.

However, the new Star Resonance version represents a revival for the franchise. This time, A Plus is focused on ensuring a strong start from the very beginning.

Set in the world of Magna, the game features mines where you can excavate rare crystals, herbs, and mushrooms. You'll also face sudden monster stampedes to survive. Players can tank with shields, heal with radiant spells, and unleash damage with skill-based attacks.

The gameplay allows you to switch combat styles to adapt to any situation. An extensive customization system lets you design distinctive outfits to stand out in bustling towns.

Plenty of leisure activities are available as well. Enjoy fishing by serene rivers, dancing at lively festivals, or lighting up the sky with fireworks. Challenging multiplayer raids against formidable bosses will also be a core part of the experience.
