Peep Demo Theater Returns

MGS Delta Peep Demo Theater Returning As Revealed by ESRB Rating

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater (MGS Delta) has been rated M for Mature by the ESRB, and the rating summary confirms the return of the Peep Demo Theater. This feature, originally seen in the Subsistence and HD Collection versions of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, allows players to view every cutscene featuring the female spy EVA in her underwear. Players can freely manipulate the camera and zoom in on any part of her body. To unlock this mode, players must collect all other cutscenes in the Demo Theater, which requires completing the game four times.

Given that MGS Delta involves players taking on the role of an elite soldier navigating enemy territory, the Mature rating is expected due to the presence of violence and gore. However, the return of the Peep Demo Theater, often referred to as "Creepy mode," is unexpected, considering its controversial and sexually explicit nature. Many fans did not anticipate its inclusion in the remake.

Faster Camouflage System

In a significant gameplay enhancement, MGS Delta introduces a quicker method to change camouflage. A video shared by METAL GEAR OFFICIAL on X (formerly Twitter) on March 28 demonstrated this new feature, stating, "Change camouflage for faces, uniforms, and more on the fly with this new feature in METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER."

The footage reveals that players can now switch their camouflage in under three seconds, a vast improvement over the original Metal Gear Solid 3. In the original game, changing camouflage was a cumbersome process that involved pausing the game, navigating through menus, and selecting the desired camouflage. This often disrupted the flow of gameplay, particularly during stealth missions, detracting from the game's immersive experience.

As the release date of MGS Delta approaches, fans are eagerly anticipating this remake, which promises to retain beloved features while introducing quality-of-life improvements. Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is scheduled for release on August 26, 2025, and will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
