In *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, while progressing through the main story in Kuttenberg, you have the opportunity to assist Master Schindel in recovering his stolen items. The Master Schindel’s Toys quest can be quite challenging, but with the right guidance, you can successfully complete it.

How to Start Master Schindel’s Toys Quest

To initiate the Master Schindel’s Toys quest, you must first engage in the Into the Underworld main mission. Your objective during this mission is to locate an informant known as Goatskin. As part of your investigation, visit the bathhouse and speak with the Bathhouse Madam. Following your conversation with her, talk to Adam, who will inform you that Goatskin is responsible for stealing Master Schindel's items.

Finding Goatskin

After speaking with Adam, your next task is to find Goatskin. Known for his timidity, drawing him out can be tricky. You have the option to speak with Lousy Mary or follow Udo. I recommend the latter. Udo is a customer who frequents the bathhouse's first floor in the evening. Instruct him to go home and discreetly follow him. Goatskin will attempt to rob Udo in an alley, providing you the perfect opportunity to confront him.

Obtaining the Kuttenberg Underground Map

During your encounter with Goatskin, you can also try to acquire a map from him. If you fail the skill check, you'll need to bribe him. He will then direct you to the Map of Kuttenberg Underground, which can be found on a body at the Kuttenberg gallows on the southeastern side of the city. Retrieve the map from the hanging corpse to aid your navigation through the underground area, which is notoriously difficult to traverse.

Locating the Stolen Items

To quickly retrieve the stolen items and complete the Master Schindel’s Toys quest, head to the northern side of the open area where you'll find a ladder leading underground. Descend the ladder into the Kuttenberg Underground zone, ensuring you have your torch lit as it's pitch black down there.

Navigate through the underground by consistently making left turns until you reach a barrel at a dead end. At one point, you'll need to jump down to a lower level. Continue turning left at each junction until you discover Goatskin’s hidden stash. Examine the barrel to retrieve a book and an astrolabe.

Returning the Stolen Items

With the stolen items in hand, retrace your steps to exit the underground. Master Schindel can usually be found on the northeastern side of the city during the day. Approach him to complete the side quest. Initially, he may seem irritable, but returning his missing items will soften his demeanor. Engage in further conversation with him to learn about the astrolabe and the mechanics of planetary motion.

Completing the Master Schindel’s Toys quest in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* not only adds to your reputation but also rewards you with additional benefits. This short yet engaging side quest is a valuable addition to your gameplay experience.
