Major Update Nightmares & Visions Coming to Warhammer 40,000: Darktide
Fatshark has unveiled the next thrilling content update for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, dubbed Nightmares & Visions. Scheduled for release on March 25, 2025, across all platforms, this expansion introduces a captivating new activity masterminded by the enigmatic Seferon. The centerpiece of this update is the Mortis Trials, where players will dive into wave-based combat scenarios set within psychic visions orchestrated by the ship's psyker. Each trial promises a unique experience, thanks to procedurally generated buffs and abilities that players can choose before embarking on their run.
By exploring these visions, players can unlock exclusive insights into key characters connected to the Mourning Star storyline, adding depth to the game's narrative. In addition to the Mortis Trials, the Havoc Mode will see the introduction of new challenging trials with four mutators designed to ramp up the difficulty. Fans of the Ogryn class are in for a treat, as an overhauled talent tree will be available to enhance their playstyle further. To mark the launch of the update, a special limited-time event will commence simultaneously.
