Crafting Words in Letterlike

Letterlike's roguelike nature ensures each playthrough offers a fresh challenge with procedurally generated letter sets and obstacles. The possibilities are endless, leading to countless victories.

Each game begins with a random selection of letters. Your mission: create meaningful words, accumulate points, and conquer levels. Each level consists of three rounds.

To progress, you must achieve a sufficient point total by forming high-scoring words, reminiscent of Scrabble. However, resources are limited: you only have five attempts (lives) per round. Strategic word creation is key.

Facing an unpromising letter combination? Don't despair! You can discard letters, but these discards are limited, demanding careful consideration.

A helpful rearrange mode allows you to drag, drop, and shuffle letters to optimize your word formations.

The final round of each level introduces a twist: a special ability renders certain letters worthless, yielding zero points.

Earned points and rewards can be invested in power-ups to enhance future runs. Some buffs are automatically applied, while others unlock at specific levels. Collected gems unlock powerful upgrades, paving the way for easier subsequent playthroughs.
