KonoSuba: Fantastic Days Global Version Shuts Down, Is It Getting an Offline Version?

Feb 27,25

The global servers for KonoSuba: Fantastic Days have officially shut down, marking the end of a 3.5-year run. This follows the Japanese version's five-year lifespan. While a relatively short life for a gacha game, especially considering declining revenue, the developers, Sumzap (initially published by Nexon, later Sesisoft), maintained active support until the very end.

This included recent voiced story updates, a final song release just three weeks prior to closure, and a December farewell livestream featuring Kazuma's voice actor. The Japanese version even went the extra mile by archiving the entire main story on YouTube, allowing players continued access to the game's narrative, voice lines, and character collection.

Unfortunately, the global version lacks an offline mode or dedicated YouTube archive. However, fans can still enjoy the complete story via the Japanese YouTube channel. The developers have shifted their focus to the Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade gacha game. This concludes our coverage of the KonoSuba: Fantastic Days Global shutdown.
