"Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Introduces Hardcore Mode"
Warhorse Studios is currently refining the hardcore difficulty mode for *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. The developers have announced via Discord that they've kicked off the testing phase, enlisting a dedicated group of 100 volunteers to put the feature through its paces before it goes live. The recruitment phase for testers is now over, signaling that the studio is advancing into the final stages of development.
Although specifics about the hardcore mode are still under wraps, fans can anticipate a challenge level akin to what was presented in the original *Kingdom Come: Deliverance*. In the first game, the hardcore mode ramped up the difficulty by restricting save options, boosting enemy damage, complicating navigation, cutting down on gold rewards, and adding negative perks. It's reasonable to expect that *Deliverance 2* will take these mechanics to new heights, offering an even more demanding experience.
Testers are under strict confidentiality agreements, preventing them from sharing any screenshots or videos of the hardcore mode. Nevertheless, their involvement indicates that official details might be shared with the public in the near future. This eagerly awaited hardcore mode will be rolled out as a complimentary update, making the enhanced challenge accessible to all players.
*Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* is playable on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, providing an immersive historical RPG experience set in medieval Bohemia. With the introduction of the hardcore mode, Warhorse Studios is set to cater to both newcomers and seasoned players looking for a more rigorous test of their skills.
