Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: A Closer Look at Village Life and Recent Controversy

Warhorse Studios continues to unveil new facets of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, focusing this time on the diverse activities available within the game's villages. Players will take on the role of Indřich (Henry), engaging in a range of activities including drinking, shepherding, archery (both crossbow and bow), prayer, hunting, and assisting villagers with their problems, such as procuring antidotes for the injured.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is slated for release on February 4, 2025.

However, the game has recently faced unexpected scrutiny. Following the discovery of subpoenas within the game, activists launched a campaign to cancel the project. Grummz and other activists, described as "agenda-driven," have brought the game under intense public scrutiny.

Speculation regarding the game's content and the inclusion of "progressive" themes intensified after news of a Saudi Arabian ban spread online. This sparked a backlash on social media, with calls to cancel Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and discourage further funding for the developers.

In response to the controversy, Warhorse Studios' PR manager, Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, urged the public to trust the developers and to critically evaluate online information.
