PlayStation's February 12-13, 2025 State of Play showcased a diverse lineup of upcoming titles and fresh announcements. Key highlights included gameplay reveals and release date confirmations for several highly anticipated games.

Game Spotlights:

• Borderlands 4: The showstopper! A gameplay trailer teased action-packed gunplay, quirky enemies, and signature Borderlands humor. Further details are promised in a future State of Play. Release date: September 23, 2025.

• Onimusha: Way of the Sword: A return to Capcom's acclaimed samurai series. The trailer highlighted stylish, brutal combat against demonic foes in feudal Kyoto. A remastered version of Onimusha 2 is also slated for release on May 23, 2025, with Onimusha: Way of the Sword following in 2026.

• Saros: From Housemarque (Returnal), this rogue-like third-person action game boasts a surreal, Lynchian narrative inspired by Indian mythology. Set on the planet Carcosa, players face multi-armed creatures amidst a sinister eclipse. Release date: 2026.

• Hell is Us: Described as "Death Stranding meets action," this action-adventure title from the art director of Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Mankind Divided, draws inspiration from Annihilation and the Southern Reach trilogy. Set in a post-apocalyptic warzone, it launches September 4, 2025.

• Days Gone Remastered: An enhanced version of Days Gone with updated visuals and new game modes, arriving April 25, 2025.

• Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater: A full remake of Metal Gear Solid 3, featuring all bosses. Release date: August 28, 2025.

• MindsEye: Leslie Benzies' (GTA V, L.A. Noire) highly anticipated new project promises to redefine gaming. A release is expected Summer 2025.
