You can also **give them a gift once per day**. Choose items they particularly like or love, as these preferences vary from one character to another. You can gather or craft these items. On their birthday, ensure you give them a gift they love, which will give an extra boost to their heart gauge. Consistent effort in these areas will help you build a strong connection quickly.
Keep in mind that currently, NPC heart gauges can only reach **six hearts**. After reaching this level, a cutscene will hint at a budding romance, but it won't be fully developed yet. According to the game's roadmap, future updates will introduce 8 and 10-heart events, along with options for marriage and children, ensuring your romance in Mistria has room to grow.
