"My Hero Academia: The Strongest Ends Service After 4 Years"
Xin Yuan Studios has announced the end of service (EOS) for *My Hero Academia: The Strongest*, the action RPG that brought Kohei Horikoshi’s beloved anime to mobile devices globally in May 2021. Developed by Sony Pictures Television, KOMOE Game Corporation, and A-Plus Japan, the game allowed players to immerse themselves in the *My Hero Academia* universe, recruit fan-favorite characters like Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki, and embark on thrilling missions in a meticulously designed open world.
When Is My Hero Academia: The Strongest Shutting Down?
The servers for *My Hero Academia: The Strongest* are scheduled to shut down on March 31st, 2025. As of February 24th, 2025, the game has been removed from both Google Play and the iOS App Store, preventing new downloads, and in-game purchases have been disabled. Following the server shutdown on March 31st, all official social media accounts associated with the game will be deleted.
However, the customer support team will remain available for an additional 30 days to address any inquiries. Players who made purchases between January 25th and February 24th, 2025, are eligible to apply for a refund before the servers shut down.
In the game's final weeks, the developers are offering a farewell gift to every existing player. This will include a reward mail containing SSS+ Limited Time Heroes and 100,000 Hero Coins. More details about this gesture can be found on the game’s official website.
Why Is It Shutting Down?
The closure of a gacha RPG like *My Hero Academia: The Strongest* is increasingly common. Despite a robust launch with a lag-free PvP experience and a combat system that felt impactful, the game's longevity was hampered by a lack of significant updates post its first anniversary and various instances of mismanagement. It's noteworthy that the game managed to last approximately four years without consistent updates.
That concludes our coverage on *My Hero Academia: The Strongest*. In other gaming news, don't miss our updates on *Legacy – Reawakening*, a new point-and-click adventure featuring steampunk ruins and eerie mysteries.
