How to Heal in Dynasty Warriors Origins

Mar 21,25

In the heat of battle in Dynasty Warriors: Origins, taking damage is inevitable, especially for newcomers or those tackling higher difficulty settings. Knowing how to heal quickly is crucial for survival. Fortunately, healing is straightforward: simply use meat buns, a readily available consumable item.

The game even offers an auto-heal feature, a lifesaver for players who prefer not to micromanage their health constantly.

How to Heal in Dynasty Warriors: Origins

Meat BunJust like in previous Dynasty Warriors titles, meat buns are your go-to healing item. Locate these by smashing pots near enemy bases. Defeated enemy officers may also drop them, but only on Historian and Wayfarer difficulty levels. Hero and Ultimate Warrior difficulties remove this drop mechanic.

Using a Meat BunWith a meat bun in your inventory, press Up on the D-Pad to consume it and replenish your health. If your inventory is full upon picking up a meat bun, it'll be automatically consumed (unless you're already at full health). Initially, you can only carry three meat buns, but the "Meat Bun Glutton" skill increases this limit if needed.

Auto-Use Meat BunsPrefer hands-off healing? Enable the "Auto-Use Meat Buns" option in the Configuration menu. This automatically uses meat buns when your health dips below a certain threshold. Rest assured, manual use remains an option even with auto-heal enabled.
