Roblox's Rivals Update 9: Gunblade, Bridge Map, and a Promise of Ranked

The popular Roblox first-person shooter, Rivals, has dropped Update 9, introducing the exciting Gunblade weapon and a new map, Bridge. Developer Nosniy Games highlighted these additions in the patch notes, along with a few minor tweaks. While a smaller update than some previous releases, it's sure to keep players engaged.

The Gunblade, a versatile weapon combining a rifle and a blade, is a natural fit for Rivals' fast-paced combat. Its dual functionality offers tactical advantages, particularly on the new Bridge map. This close-quarters combat arena, set in Seoul and created by @GreatGuyBoom, features a suspended concrete structure with limited cover, promising intense firefights.

The developers stated, "We hear all of your feedback and want to reassure you all that every necessary & additional changes/improvements will be made in time for Ranked."

NEW MAP:

• The Bridge map: An arena-style duel zone in Seoul, Korea, created by @GreatGuyBoom.

NEW SPECIAL CHALLENGES:

• New challenges replacing the Winter Spotlight, offering keys and the limited-time Bungeoppang charm upon completion on the Bridge map.

OTHER:

• Minor modifications to Demon Shorty and Demon Uzi skins.
• Renamed weapons: Hexxed Flare Gun to Vexed Flare Gun, Hexxed Candle to Vexed Candle, and Hexxed wrap to Vexed.

DEVELOPER'S NOTE:

The developers expressed their excitement about the new map, celebrating their Korean community and confirming that the next update will prioritize the Ranked mode and address player feedback regarding bug fixes, balance, and quality-of-life improvements.
