*Rune Slayer* delivers an authentic MMORPG experience within *Roblox*, complete with classic kill quests, crafting systems, dungeon crawls, and even relaxing fishing mechanics. But what truly completes the MMORPG fantasy? Mounts, of course. While *Rune Slayer* does offer mount systems, the game doesn't explicitly guide players on how to obtain them. That's where we come in.

Before you get a mount

Before chasing your dream mount in *Rune Slayer*, ensure you meet these two requirements:

Reach level 20

Have a tamed pet

Neither requirement is particularly demanding. Hitting level 20 typically takes about 5-6 hours of gameplay (potentially faster with friends). Simply complete quests, take on jobs, and defeat enemies to level up efficiently.

The pet taming process begins with an introductory quest, but here's the quick version:

1. Locate a tameable creature (Deer, Wolf, Spider, etc.)
2. Attack it once
3. Hold out its preferred food (Apples for Deer, Raw Deer Meat for Wolves)
4. Wait for a heart icon to appear above its head
5. If the heart fully expands, the creature falls and becomes your pet
6. If the heart turns black, the taming fails - simply find another creature and try again

Finish the Mount Quest

Upon reaching level 20, visit Jimmy the Stable Master in Wayshire who offers "Jimmy's Delivery." Accept this quest and travel north through Wayshire's northern gate.

The route takes you through:

Wayshire's northern entrance → Greatwood Forest → Ashenshire

Watch for aggressive enemies in Greatwood Forest, and continue north until reaching Ashenshire's distinctive treehouse village.

Locate a climbable rope to ascend the trees. The first NPC you encounter is Madonna the Stable Master - interact with her and select "I have a package for you." Then return to Wayshire by retracing your steps southward.

Upon returning to Jimmy (marked with an exclamation point), receive your Saddle reward - this automatically equips without appearing in your inventory.

How to mount your pet in Rune Slayer

With your saddle obtained:

• Summon your pet by holding T
• Approach your pet and look for the "Mount" prompt
• Press E to ride
