"Guide to Obtaining Deer Skin in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2"

Apr 12,25

In *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, acquiring Deer Skin can be essential for various crafting needs. Whether you're in a bind and need to craft something on the spot or you're looking to stock up, here's how you can get your hands on Deer Skin.

Where to Get Deer Skin in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Deer Skin, as the name suggests, is primarily obtained by skinning deer. To do this, you'll need to unlock a Survival perk that allows you to skin animals. Once you have this perk, you can venture into the woods where deer are plentiful. They're common enough that you shouldn't have to search far before encountering one. After successfully hunting a deer, you can skin it to acquire the Deer Skin you need.

Where to Buy Deer Skin

If hunting isn't your preferred method, you can also purchase Deer Skin from various NPCs throughout the game. You'll find Deer Skin available at:

  • Weaponsmiths and blacksmiths at Trosky Castle
  • Saddlers at Trosky Castle
  • Tanners at Vidlak Pond
  • Gamekeepers at Zhelejov

These trader NPCs are scattered across different settlements in the game, and they usually restock their inventory every week or so. Personally, I find the NPCs at Trosky Castle to be the best source for Deer Skin due to their well-stocked supplies. However, you should also be able to purchase Deer Skin from traders at smaller settlements.

It's worth noting that the gamekeeper at Zhelejov might occasionally experience a bug that prevents trading. In such cases, you might need to resort to pickpocketing to obtain a few Deer Skins.

That's how you can get Deer Skin in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. For more tips and information on the game, including whether you should kill Jakesh and how to romance Katherine, be sure to check out The Escapist.
