Guide: Completing Hush, My Darling in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Instead of Kuttenberg City, the side quest "Hush, My Darling" in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* is picked up from Miskowitz, located in the Kuttenberg Region to the west of the city. It's time to put your blacksmithing skills to the test to complete this intriguing quest.

How to Finish Hush, My Darling in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Speak with Martha

To begin, head to the southeast section of Miskowitz where you'll find Martha in the house connected to the forge. Engage in conversation with her and ask if she needs any assistance. She'll express a need for someone skilled in blacksmithing. Respond with "I'm a blacksmith! I'd be glad to help" to officially start the "Hush, My Darling" side quest.

If you haven't already, you can also speak with the bailiff about Matthew, who is part of the Dry Devil's group. Conveniently, the bailiff is right next to Martha, making it easy to locate her using this marker.

Craft Horseshoes

You may already have the necessary items for this quest. You'll need two Farmer's Horseshoes, which you might have crafted earlier to level up your blacksmithing skills. If not, gather two pieces of Scrap Metal and head to the forge to create the horseshoes. Once crafted, return to Martha with your completed work.

Find Victoria

Martha will then direct you to deliver the horseshoes to Victoria, who resides in a house just south of the forge. Upon arriving, you'll notice Victoria is not at home. Instead, you'll find blood upon opening the first door on the left.

Approach and inspect the blood when prompted during "Hush, My Darling" in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. Return to Martha to report your findings. She'll suggest heading to Sigismund's camp to search for Victoria.

The camp is located south of Opatowitz. If you're still pursuing Matthew for the Dry Devil quest, you may encounter him on the path to the camp. Once there, find the blacksmith and inquire about Victoria. He'll mention a soldier named Black who had taken an interest in her. You'll find Black in the infirmary tent, as he's currently unwell.

Black requires a Digestive Potion to treat his food poisoning before he'll help you. If you don't have one, craft it and return to give it to him. Wait a couple of hours for the potion to take effect before he'll provide the information you need.

Black reveals that he had said some things to Victoria and suspects she might have gone into the woods to the east. Follow the quest marker on your map to find her sitting on a stump.

Victoria is understandably upset, so engage her in conversation about the situation. The dialogue options you choose here won't affect future events, but if you made Black promise to look after Victoria, you can pass on this message to her, giving her hope for the future.

This conversation concludes "Hush, My Darling" in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. From here, you can proceed with the main quests or explore more side quests like "In Vino Veritas."
