Official press materials reveal that MindsEye centers around Jacob Diaz, a protagonist equipped with a neural implant—the MindsEye—that has severely impacted his memory, leaving him with fragmented flashbacks of his military service. MindsEye has been in development for several years. Following his departure from Rockstar Games, Benzies established Build a Rocket Boy, collaborating with IO Interactive (Hitman developers) on this ambitious project. Described as a AAA action-adventure title, MindsEye will also integrate the Everywhere platform, previously likened to a "high-budget Roblox" following a studio visit in 2024.
