GOG Resurrects Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2 on PC

Feb 23,25

GOG resurrects the cult classic survival horror games, Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2, with DRM-free PC re-releases. Both PlayStation titles are now available on GOG's platform as part of their Preservation Program, ensuring the original content remains untouched.

Released in 1999 and 2000 respectively, these games represent a significant piece of gaming history. While Dino Crisis 3 (an original Xbox exclusive) followed in 2003, the series has remained dormant since. Despite fan demand for a new entry or an HD remake, Capcom’s apparent focus on other titles, such as Exoprimal, and statements from the creator, Shinji Mikami, suggest a Dino Crisis revival is unlikely.

PlayGOG's release is a welcome addition for fans, as these PC ports were previously difficult to acquire and run on modern systems. GOG highlights the enhanced experience, stating that Regina's famous line, "You're extinct!", no longer applies to the games themselves.

GOG's Dino Crisis 2 Enhancements:
