Gizmoat is a peculiar little game currently available on the iOS App Store. At first glance, it appears deceptively simple—an endless runner featuring a pixelated goat fleeing from an ominous cloud across mountainous terrain. Yet despite its minimalist charm, there’s a surprising lack of detailed information surrounding the game.

What initially caught my attention wasn’t what I knew about Gizmoat, but rather how little there actually is to find. Outside of its iOS App Store listing, there's only a sparse official website offering minimal insight. That said, here’s what we do know:

In Gizmoat, you control a determined goat navigating an endless series of platforms while being pursued by a dark, ever-approaching cloud. There’s no clear end goal—just survival. Much like traditional endless runners, your objective is to stay ahead of the looming threat for as long as possible, testing reflexes and timing with each jump.

Mountain living

Since I don't personally play games on iOS, I can't vouch for Gizmoat’s quality firsthand. However, what’s fascinating is how obscure the title remains beyond the occasional mention online. It’s one of many oddities in the mobile gaming space that seem to exist in digital isolation—no developer interviews, no press kits, and barely any community chatter.

Still, if you're in the mood for something off the beaten path and don’t mind taking a gamble on the unknown, Gizmoat might just scratch that itch.
