Genshin Impact's Version 5.4 will introduce four new Thespian Tricks to the Imaginarium Theater, as beta leaks showcase Barbara, Sethos, Chiori, and Baizhu in distinctive new poses. The Imaginarium Theater serves as a key part of the game's endgame content. While the Spiral Abyss focuses on vertical team progression, the Imaginarium Theater requires a broader, horizontal character investment from players.

To overcome the monthly Imaginarium Theater challenges in Genshin Impact, players must maintain a well-rounded roster of characters across all Elements. Each month, the game mode limits players to using only three specific Elements, with some exceptions, and grants cosmetic rewards for completing its various Acts. The Imaginarium Theater offers two primary reward types: Envisaged Echoes and Thespian Tricks.

A screenshot from the beta servers, shared by Firefly Leaks, offers the first glimpse of the new Imaginarium Theater rewards arriving in Version 5.4. The upcoming Thespian Tricks will feature Barbara, Sethos, Chiori, and Baizhu. Chiori recently had a banner rerun in Version 5.1, while Baizhu will be available in the new Chronicled Banner, allowing players to obtain him before Version 5.4's release.

Chiori's new pose in Genshin Impact is particularly striking compared to the others and will surely delight players who have the Thundering Seamstress in their collection. Chiori remains one of the most valuable long-term character investments, as her full Constellation potential competes with top-tier units like Mualani and Arlecchino. Typically designed for Mono Geo team compositions, she also performs exceptionally well alongside Navia and forms a powerful off-field Double Geo core with Zhongli.

While Version 5.4 may be considered a smaller update compared to the current one—featuring no new map area, Archon Quest, Artifact Domain, and only one new character—it does include a significant Flagship Event set in Inazuma, a highly requested addition by the community. The update will also introduce Yumemizuki Mizuki, a new 5-star Anemo Catalyst user who will play a central role in the Flagship Event and receive her own Story Quest. Version 5.4 is scheduled for release on February 12, 2025.
