Game Devs' "Alabaster Dawn" to Debut on Early Access
Radical Fish Games, creators of the acclaimed action RPG CrossCode, unveil their next project: Alabaster Dawn. This 2.5D action RPG, formerly known as "Project Terra," is set for Steam Early Access release in late 2025. The game, currently available for wishlisting, promises a captivating adventure.
Gamescom Appearance and Demo Planned
Radical Fish Games will be at Gamescom 2024, offering limited hands-on opportunities with Alabaster Dawn. While play time will be restricted, the team welcomes attendees for conversation throughout the event. A public demo is also planned for release at a later date.
DMC and KH-Inspired Combat in a Ruined World
Alabaster Dawn casts players as Juno, the Outcast Chosen, tasked with reviving humanity after the goddess Nyx devastates the world of Tiran Sol. Inspired by Devil May Cry, Kingdom Hearts, and CrossCode, the combat system promises fast-paced action. Explore seven expansive regions, rebuild settlements, manage trade routes, and master eight unique weapons, each with its own skill tree. Further gameplay features include parkour, puzzles, enchantments, and even cooking! The developers boast that the first 1-2 hours of gameplay are nearing completion, a significant milestone in development.
With an estimated playtime of 30-60 hours, Alabaster Dawn is shaping up to be a substantial and exciting addition to the action RPG genre.
