Freedom Wars Remastered: Max CODE Level Revealed
Quick Links
In Freedom Wars Remastered, your primary goal is to reduce your one million-year sentence, which you were handed simply for being born. As you strive to decrease your prison term, you're also focused on increasing your CODE level to simplify life as a sinner.
Your CODE level unlocks more Entitlements, which can make the game more manageable by allowing you to run longer or enhancing your comrades and gear for easier battles against Abductors. There are several CODE levels you'll progress through, and here's the exact number.
How Many CODE Levels Are In Freedom Wars Remastered
In Freedom Wars Remastered, there are a total of eight CODE levels for players to advance through. Once you upgrade your CODE level, you can't regress, so you don't have to worry about inadvertently increasing your prison sentence beyond what's needed for your current CODE, especially when playing on Deadly Sinner Mode. Each time you rank up your CODE level, you gain access to more Entitlements to purchase and additional operations to attempt and complete.
How To Increase Your CODE Level In Freedom Wars Remastered
To check the conditions for upgrading your CODE level, you can speak to your Accessory in your cell and select "Check CODE Upgrade Conditions". Typically, you'll need to reach a specific year milestone in your prison sentence and unlock particular Entitlements. You can review this menu at any time from your cell, so make sure to check it before spending all your Entitlement Points on less useful upgrades, or you'll need to donate resources to acquire more.
Donating just one higher-end resource or weapon can often provide enough points for numerous Entitlements.
To rank up your CODE level, you must fulfill all the conditions listed, but your current CODE level is also closely tied to the main story. Completing main story missions and operations, along with meeting those conditions, is necessary to pass the CODE exam, which is part of the narrative. Sometimes, the main story will serve as a substitute for the CODE exam to reach the next level.
Operations are also categorized by CODE levels, indicating their general difficulty. You'll complete most operations as you progress through the story of a CODE, though occasionally, a few optional operations will become available after you advance, helping those who might not be fully prepared for the missions of their new CODE level.
