Freedom Wars Remastered offers diverse loadout customization options. While weapons and Thrones are less frequently swapped, Combat Items, being consumables with varied uses, are limited resources.

Completing operations sometimes yields Combat Items, but rarely enough for substantial stockpiling. Initially, only one Combat Item can be equipped; this guide addresses both issues.

How To Equip More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered

Increasing Combat Item capacity requires specific Entitlements. Access the "Claim Entitlements" option via the Window On Liberty in your cell. Navigate to the Equipment section, then to the right to find the One-Item Permit. Subsequent permits, obtained sequentially, increase your maximum equipped Combat Items to four.

Story progression unlocks these permits quickly; all four are purchasable by CODE level 3. Each permit unlocks after purchasing the previous one. Equipping a Combat Item equips your entire stack; equipping a Frag Grenade, for example, uses all currently held grenades at the operation's start.

Accessories can also equip a single Combat Item, used at the player's discretion.

After progressing past the initial missions, The Warren HUB area unlocks, containing Zakka's store. Besides weapons, Zakka sells Munitions and Medical Supplies.

  • Munitions: Directly damages enemies.
  • Medical Supplies: Heals, cures status effects, or refills ammunition.

Combat Items have individual prices; bulk purchasing is expensive in Entitlement Points. Donating old resources is advisable only when needing many Medkits. While Operations occasionally reward Combat Items, this isn't a reliable farming method due to completion time and potential consumption exceeding rewards.
