Final Fantasy XIV's Free Login Campaign Returns!

Square Enix has re-launched its popular Free Login Campaign for Final Fantasy XIV, giving players with inactive accounts a chance to return to Eorzea for a limited time. This campaign runs until February 6th, 2025, offering eligible players four consecutive days of free gameplay on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.

The campaign, which began January 9th, allows players to explore the recently released Patch 7.15 content, including new side quests within the Dawntrail expansion, the return of the Hildibrand adventures, and a fresh Custom Delivery client. This free period provides a perfect opportunity to catch up before the upcoming Patch 7.2 and 7.3 releases, which Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida confirmed in his New Year's message. Yoshida also teased upcoming developments in the Dawntrail main storyline, leaving fans speculating.

Eligibility requirements include a previously purchased and registered Final Fantasy XIV account that has been inactive for at least 30 days prior to the campaign's start. Accounts suspended or terminated for violating terms of service are ineligible. Players can verify their eligibility status on the Mog Station. The four-day timer begins upon logging into the game launcher.

While enjoying the free playtime, players can also participate in the Heavensturn event (until January 16th) to earn a special minion reward. Patch 7.16, concluding the Dawntrail Role Quest series, launches on January 21st. This Free Login Campaign offers a great chance to revisit the world of Final Fantasy XIV and prepare for the next major content updates.
