The return of legendary skins to the Fortnite Item Shop is always unpredictable. Some, like Kratos, have been absent for years, but Master Chief's return is a recent event. After a long absence (last seen June 3, 2022), the Halo hero reappeared on December 23, 2024, as a Christmas surprise.
Suit up as Petty Officer John-117, drop into the Battle Bus, and fight for that Victory Royale! But what's included in the Fortnite Master Chief Bundle, and how much will it cost you?
How to Get Master Chief in Fortnite

Available in the Fortnite Item Shop since December 23rd, 7 PM ET, Master Chief is ready for purchase. The iconic skin, featuring armor from Halo Infinite, costs 1,500 V-Bucks and includes the Battle Legend Back Bling at no extra charge. While a LEGO style isn't currently available, additional Halo-themed items are offered within the Master Chief Bundle or as separate purchases:

How to Get the Matte Black Master Chief in Fortnite
Epic Games confirmed via X (formerly Twitter) on the official Fortnite Status account that the Matte Black Master Chief style remains unlockable. To obtain it, simply purchase the Master Chief outfit and then play a single match of Fortnite Battle Royale on an Xbox Series X|S.
Previous statements suggesting the Matte Black style was no longer available after December 2024 have been corrected. This means players can still acquire this additional style.
